Spike Recorder automatically saves your data in a raw audio format .wav. But if you want to record both video & audio i.e. record how your spikes are behaving, then you could do it with a regular desktop recorder like Fraps, FreeCam etc.
They will both record audio & video, which you could render and compress with Handbrake, while still having the same audio/video quality and at the end edit with regular audio/video editing software, like Shotcut, Premier Pro, Sony Vegas 12/11/10...
